After 8 years working for jazz, it’s time to ask you for help so we can continue working.
Since 2017, we have been working with some municipal support, some government support, and a lot of pro bono work from the teams that have been part of Eixo.
Now, we ask you to join our cause as a member ❣

Regular
Anyone who wants to support Eixo!

- Pay your fee monthly or yearly.
Student
Any student, of music or not!
- All the rights;
- All the duties;
- Pay your fee monthly or yearly;
- Requires verification of student status.
Meritorious
Individuals who want to support Eixo.
- All the rights;
- All the duties;
- Donations over 100€ yearly;
- Material donations or loans.
Patron
Entities who want to support Eixo.
- All the rights;
- All the duties;
- Donations over 500€ yearly;
- Material donations or loans.
RIGHTS
- Membership price for any event at Espaço Eixo;
- Discounts on admission to Eixo Jazz Ensemble concerts in other venues (reservations required);
- Discounts on activities open to the public (choir, combos, workshops, etc.);
- Free admission to jam sessions at Espaço Eixo;
- Possibility of requesting use of the Espaço Eixo venue for a fair and reasonable price, upon request to the board of directors and approval by the special meeting of the governing bodies;
- Simplified access, through Eixo’s partnership with an insurance company, to employment insurance for self-employed professionals (mandatory in Portugal) with special conditions;
- Free access to non-musical workshops (insurance, pension, A1, health, etc.);
- Discounts on music workshops;
- Discounts on artistic residencies;
- Access, through Eixo’s partnership with an insurance company, to instrument insurance discounts*
DUTIES
- Keep dues up to date;
- Good behavior in Espaço Eixo;
- Support the promotion of Eixo do Jazz’s activities (e.g., on social media);
- Encourage new members to join;
- Support the association in any way possible;
- Keep insurance payments up to date (if you have insurance)*
* The minimum amount to be paid will be €25/year per instrument, up to €2,500, depending on the value of the insured instrument.
* The discount will be exponential in relation to the number of insurance policies requested by the partners.
* The discount on instrument insurance requires a minimum of 75 insureds.
